POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

9/13/2026✝️

About 1 year ago from today, a few changes started to take a toll in my body got me wondering what’s going on. I ended up getting a CT scan at a hospital to find out doctors was highly positive I have Cancer. Of course my heart dropped hearing the news. They continued to run a few tests on me and was sure cancer was a cause of concern. Regardless, I continued to deny it and kept my faith in the lord strong. I ended up having to do a needle biopsy to find out I have a rare NON-CANCEROUS tumor in my body. The type of tumor I got couldn’t get surgically removed because of how dangerous it would result in. So instead, on 9/11/2025 I got a cryoblation procedure that kills the tumor cells over time. Under anesthesia during the procedure, god gave me a dream showing me in the future that I would get out of this just fine. I woke up from that dream, and the first thing I see was my doctor smiling saying the procedure was an absolute success. My vitals were stable throughout the entire 3-4 hour procedure. I ended up doing a follow up scan of 3 months, to find out my tumor shrunk.

There’s more to my story but it’s quite a lot to type. This is my testimony. God is good! AMENN

The world doesn’t need more silent Christians; it needs bold witnesses who are unashamed of the Gospel and willing to open their mouths and tell others what Jesus has done and is continuing to do in their lives.

TRUST THE PROCESS. ❤️‍🔥

There were moments where we didn’t know how it would happen. Moments where the pressure was heavy, the warfare was real, and the vision was tested. But one thing we’ve learned through it all is this:

God never starts anything He is not able to complete. “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion” — Philippians 1:6

The weapon formed and it DID NOT prosper. And now we are officially planted in LEAVENWORTH, KS!!

WE GOT AN ADDRESS!!

This is more than a building. This is proof that God validates what He ordains. He has approved us, affirmed us, sealed us, and continued to make room for His vision.

And the gates of hell SHALL NOT prevail against the Lord’s Church — Faith Walkers Outreach ❤️‍🔥

The Faith Walk continues.

He’s not done with us yet. There is STILL so much more to this story.

WE ARE FAITH WALKERS!

Borrowed folding chairs. An echoey living room. A few friends who believed. A “yes” from a man of God who was tired of hiding. That’s how our story @wearefaithwalkers began.

After accepting the call to pastor, Orlando Rivera would invite a few friends and family members over for Bible Study. From this step of obedience, our faith walk would lead us to begin campus ministry at Highland Community College and the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas. We witnessed the Gospel of Jesus Christ transform the lives of so many students, but would never let go of local, neighborhood impact.

We proclaimed the Good News at local pools, public parks, in classrooms, auditoriums, community centers, hotel conference rooms, Section 8 communities, and more living rooms... believing for a home of our own. God even allowed us to connect with other generous believers who allowed us to share their facilities for Sunday services and outreach. Little did we know the prosperous plans he had in store for us.

Along the way, our pastor instilled in us the principle of being faithful over a few things before becoming ruler over many. This principle sets us up for the miracle that took place just a couple weeks ago. After a five-year journey of wondering where we were going to meet permanently and being faithful over the spaces we were given, Faith Walkers Outreach witnessed a miracle!

As God would have it, our church was recently GIVEN one of the buildings we shared and diligently served from in Leavenworth. In 2024, Pastor Kyle Mitchell of CityWon Church was prompted by God to allow us to share their facility. Out of gratefulness to the Lord, our family LIVED the word of God by serving the homeless population with meals every Sunday, persisting in evangelism, and leading souls to free in Leavenworth, KS. Two years later, we are seeing the fruit of our labor in that space. With a desire to simply live out the great commission in Matthew 28:19, our church had no idea that we were sowing seeds in what would soon be OUR FIRST HOME.

Meet us Sunday May 17th, 2026 @ 10:30am

What an honor it is to be the first church of many churches inducted into The Aroma Network! We are being sent out, marked, and commissioned for such a time as this ❤️‍🔥

Before anything else, we stop and give glory to God—for saving, restoring, and rewriting our story. This is history in the making. This is what happens when grace meets obedience. 🙌🏾

We honor our pastors, our covering, our friends and our leaders @pastorad3 and @heyjessicastephenson . Thank you for saying yes to God in a way that created space for others to become. Thank you for your sacrifice, your transparency, your leadership, and your refusal to gatekeep what God has entrusted to you. From an intentional connection at GOTSCON Conference in Cleveland, to a life-altering alignment, we didn’t just gain mentors, we gained family. You walked us through humility, stretched our capacity, and poured into every area — how to pastor, how to lead, how to build, how to steward marriage, family, and ministry with integrity and excellence.

We also honor @wearethecitykc Thank you for loving @wearefaithwalkers back to life during a necessary purposeful pause. You didn’t just give us a place to worship but, you gave us a place to heal, learn and grow. You gave us rest, realignment, and the kind of development that only comes from being in the right soil.

So now, we go.

Boots laced. Backpack on and our hearts postured with the vision clear.

We have been sent to carry something sacred — the aroma of Christ.

Our mission is to spread the aroma of Christ in every street, every home, every heart until the entire city of Leavenworth encounters His presence.

Leavenworth—JESUS CHANGES EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE, AND IT STARTS RIGHT NOW. ❤️‍🔥
