We brought the bump and the sauna to @gemfestuk 🔥🌿🤰

What a weekend.

Spent a few days with good friends, met some brilliant people, caught some quality sets and somehow managed to squeeze in a bit of sleep along the way.

The sauna was packed all weekend, which was awesome to see. Lots of people choosing to start the day with a sweat, a cold plunge and a bit of calm before heading back into the festival.

Massive thanks to everyone who came through, shared stories, braved the heat (and the cold) and helped make it what it was.

Great atmosphere, great crowd and a festival with loads of potential.

See you next year 🔥❄️

This is one of two barn owls currently hunting the fields around the sauna each evening to feed their chicks 🦉

Most nights around 6–7pm they appear silently over the grass hunting for mice as the sun starts to drop.

We’re truly blessed to be surrounded by this sort of nature here in Devon and if you book an evening sauna session with us, there’s a good chance you’ll witness moments like this firsthand.

Not your typical “wellness crowd”…

First timers.
Sceptics.
People just giving it a go.

And every single one of them comes out saying the same thing

“That was unreal.”

It’s for anyone.

This is the full setup.

Heat inside.
Cold outside.
Fresh air in between.

Simple system — but done properly, it hits different.

That’s the Matchbox experience.

You think it’s going to be brutal. 🥶

Then you’re in…
laughing, swearing, trying to stay in longer than your mates.

That’s the thing no one tells you —
it’s not just recovery, it’s a buzz.

Best done after a proper sauna. 🔥

This is what we bring to events.

Not something to just look at —
something people get involved in.

Between music, food, and everything else…
this is where people reset.

If you’re running an event, this is the bit people remember.
