FOR TIGGER 🌈 ✍️ 📸 Our gorgeous friend Tigger has left us at only 10 years old. He is special and very loved. I wrote this poem for him from the perspective of his family. Tigger was on our waiting list to be featured when he turned 11, which is our minimum age requirement, and I'm sorry that we weren't able to have him included as one of our SASSy seniors, despite him being a very sassy fellow. Anyone who has been featured on our page knows that I put a lot of time and effort into gathering as much information as possible about every senior who is featured, but this family is in mourning. So I will tell you what I do know about this beautiful boy ✨️

Tigger started life with his family in the UK as a foster fail. Foster fails are the luckiest of all fosters because, as the term suggests, they do not remain as a foster until they find a home. They have, in fact, already found their forever home with the people caring for them after having made them fall in love. Tigger came into foster care with his mother and sibling as a kitten with a family who wanted to provide them with a warm and caring environment to prepare them for adoption. His cheeky ways, which included pushing his sister aside so that he could get mother's milk, won the hearts of his foster family, who fell almost instantly in love with him. He was a typical outdoor cat, getting into fights and making trouble with the neighbours, but after developing some health issues, Tigger needed to become an indoor cat in order to be closely monitored. Tigger took to the transition well, with no desire to go back outside. He enjoyed a life of sunbeams on windowsills, treats, naps, cuddles, playing, and following his humans around. His humans love him with their whole heart and will continue to do so. The little foster fail who didn't ever go to another home could not have chosen a better family or had a happier life ❤️
