SABCO 2026 Artist Announcement — Meet LAL 🌊

Toronto-based duo @lalforest (@rosinamultiplefutures and @murrsunday ) have been holding down Canada’s underground for over two decades. Blending South Asian roots with West Indian influences, they weave together jazz, hip-hop, downtempo, broken soul, dub, and techno into something that refuses to sit in a single box. More than a band, LAL are community builders , using the dancefloor as a space for resistance.

Their name means “red” in several South Asian languages: rebellion, revolution and passion. @lalforest joined by @viktor.kei will bring songs from their newest, 8th studio album, “A Practice Of Love” with visuals from Mark Valino. Come witness LAL at SABCO 26.

🔍 Old lenses never lie about who we used to be.

In this artistic study of Time (aka the 4th Dimension), 12 artists from across the GTA combine over 2 weeks of songwriting and demos at Ghostown Studios with final recording sessions at Metalworks Studios on Sept 26, 2026.

Step into a few intimate moments from @thisismetalworks to experience the process. Our 2-studio bookout was slammed with high expectations. A song an hour. With the right prep, the team pulled it off. Plus @jawntaboika was interviewing everyone to slow us down... 😂

Get your tickets 🎟️ for the River Mouth IV : The 4th Dimension showcase happening Sun Nov 1st. We've got all new tracks debuting featuring one-of-a-kind collabs and culture melting performances.

SABCO 2026 Artist Announcement — Meet LAKEER (AXX GILL) 🌊

Punjabi poetry, reframed for the dancefloor. @infinite_lakeer aka AXX Gill bridges traditional Punjabi folk with modern melodies — honoring the source while pushing it somewhere new.

His track “Kangana – The Bangle” are a glimpse: rhythm, melody, and movement, built for bodies in motion. As Lakeer (poet and painter), he traces the lines between tradition and innovation, between Punjab and the global underground.
