Cons are funny in the sense that you can kinda plan/stress so much beforehand...sometimes it feels like its so far away, that you have time & then before you know it, BAM its time, the con is here and you are not ready, lol. But thats just #sdcc2026 which we loving call our superbowl...and oh how we missed it.

Its always fun to run around in costume..
Chat w/ old friends..
Make new ones..
See all the cool costumes..

Already planning on next year's costumes:).
This is just a small portion of the pictures we took...head over to our Facebook to check out more:)

San Diego Comic Con 2026 highlights!

What a good time this year. Met so many awesome people, made new friends, and got to nerd out with everyone. Thank you for all the compliments and taking pictures with my hobby horse prop! All your cosplays were amazing!

Can't wait to see everyone again at the next one!

I am seriously so proud of my students for pulling this off!

We successfully created rings out of 99.9 silver clay, using stones sourced from the gem show—rainbow moonstone, watermelon tourmaline, turquoise, carnelian, and more.

Because some of these stones can’t be fired with a torch, we designed and built the settings first, then carefully set each stone after firing and polishing. It was a full process moment.

I’ll be honest—I was a little nervous to teach this as a workshop. Silver clay is beautiful, but it’s also temperamental. If you take too long, it starts to dry out and crumble… and just like that, there goes your piece (and your material).

But they handled it so well. Every single ring turned out completely unique. You can see the hand in each one, the personality, the imperfections that make them special. I just love the look of these.

I love how these came out, and I’m already excited to do this again.

If this is a class you’d want to try next time, let me know🫶🤗

Our first vending event of the year is coming up! Jan 4-5 @disasterina and I will be vending at the @odditiesandcuriositiesexpo in Los Angeles! Get your tickets now!!!! Last year was its first year and it was a total success! The little sculptures in this video were created for that show and sold out within the first few hours! During the pandemic one of my neighbors was getting rid of a collection of medieval fantasy figurines that she had since the 80s. I thought they were super cool so I asked if I could have them, hoping to turn them into my art and I finally did. My amazing apprentice @_persephonene_ helped me put them in glass domes with butterflies or moths. And honestly I was so busy with other projects that she ended up doing most of the work! So thank you Kathryn! I hope you guys are excited to see what I’ll bring this year! #averoseart #dndart #medievalfantasy #butterflyart #dungeonsanddragonsart #fantasyartwork

the fairy tale characters of Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods are complex and flawed, but deeply human. it is a story of these complicated characters coming together in the face of the ambivalent truths of life to form community and family. I feel so grateful to have been part of this ITW production with friends new and old to tell this timeless story, all under the incredible direction of Mo Moffet! thanks to all who have joined us and supported our fantastic ensemble of a cast and crew for the past 10 (plus!) months🫘

So thankful to have been a part of one of my favorite musicals, Into the Woods, especially with such a talented cast and crew. Thanks to everybody who came out to support our show!

It’s been an insanely fulfilling production to work on, I really can’t overstate that. I’m sincerely going to miss living with these songs and incredible performances. “Each time you go, there’s more to learn of what you know.”
