Parentia has been officially selected for Women X Film Festival, which is now both a BIFA-qualifying and BAFTA-qualifying festival.

This is my first short film as a writer/director, and I’m really pleased to see it continuing its festival journey.

Earlier this year, I partnered with @wearefuturecreative & @t3dotcom to showcase some of the ways that Tech can deepen our connection with Nature 🤳🏽🪲

I got to try out Birdfy’s smart bird feeder, set up a trail camera & yap about how much I love the Merlin Bird ID & iNaturalist apps 🤩

As Tech gets smarter & more innovative, it can be easy to turn to our devices & away from Nature, but there are ways they can go hand in hand & for some, Tech can help to overcome some of the barriers to Nature connection & bring people closer to knowing more about the World around them.

I adore Merlin & iNaturalist because they’re easy to use, accessible & fun! They make it so you don’t have to lug around ID books if you’d rather not & they feed into Citizen Science - win win! 🫱🏾‍🫲🏿

Here’s to hoping that Tech & AI keep Nature in mind & find ways to exist without further damaging our beautiful Planet 🌍
