#OTMWedding 💍 "We were married at the same country club where my parents held their wedding reception 30 years earlier, @PVGCevents, which made the day feel incredibly full circle," bride @sydney.pascal shares of her and @_philedwards's summer nuptials. On the day-of, she wore a strapless @VeraWangGang x @pronovias dress down the aisle. And after being announced as officially married, the newlyweds excitedly jumped the broom. 🧹💚

Proud to be a key part of my brothers wedding days as both a groomsman and witness this year.

Watching their relationships grow from the beginning to now has truly been a blessing, and an inspiration.

Started from a college basement, to the isle 2x and beyond. 💯

This is what emotional maturity looks like! @sydney.pascal said “therapy first, then marriage.” @_philedwards did the work!
Marriage takes more than love, it takes commitment and compromise.

If your partner said you needed to go to therapy before you got married would you go?

When a man decides to grow… everything changes.
Phil was honest about not wanting therapy because he was afraid of being judged. He wanted to be a better communicator and build a real future with @sydney.pascal so he went to therapy🫶🏽 So proud of how our community is growing and normalizing therapy🙏🏽

Would you have waited for someone to grow before getting married?

It was an honor to interview @sydney.pascal and @_philedwards They have been married for about six weeks and were both so open and vulnerable. They met when they were freshman @spelman_college and @morehouse1867 when they were freshman. Listen to the full episode to hear their beautiful journey❤️
