In a little over a month, we put together one of the most memorable shows I’ve ever been apart of. Everyone who had a part in this production I want to thank. Playing Giovio has been one of the single hardest roles I’ve done and yet so fun and rewarding. Thank you Nicole for giving me this opportunity.

Farewell, Carrie White!

As sad as I am about it ending, I am so grateful to have had such an incredible cast to tell this story with. All of you are truly amazing and found your own ways to bring life to every character, even if your character was lowkenuinely evil you found a way to show the human in them.. also you don’t have to apologize for the blood man

To the crew, you all are rockstars!
Thank you for always making sure we were well lit, mic’d, prop’d , and most importantly thank you for making me a human candy apple every night.

To the directors and mentors, your vision for this production is now forever my favorite interpretation of the story. Carrie has always been held dear to my heart and it was amazing to see everyone wanting every detail just right so that the story was told properly. I only wish I could thank you enough for letting me be in this amazing show, and I seriously can’t wait to see what each one of you do next because it will be amazing.

To Emilia and PTPT : when I first found out about PTPT I was a bit suspicious but also intrigued. I didn’t think anyone would be able to actually have a healthy, positive theater company, but MAN was I proven so wrong. As soon as I even did Miscast with you, I saw that PTPT represents EVERYTHING that the theatre community stands for.

To everyone that came out to see this show, or came to our prom, or donated time, money, items or good vibes seriously thank you. Your energy each and every night made telling this story truly special, your word of mouth sold tickets and feeling the emotions of the story I hope will impact you just as long as it will me. Also sorry for not getting to talk to everyone on account of being so sticky… I think that’s the only thing I won’t miss.

I genuinely cannot find the words to describe how phenomenal this show was. By far my favorite roll i’ve ever gotten to play, thank you Chris Hargensen! Another big thank you to @esme.madi @emiliatorello and @jessihoadley for being such amazing mentors and leaders, guiding me through playing this roll. rip billy nolan, we barely knew you (and maybe that’s a good thing)

Carrie has been a bucket list musical of mine for the longest time and to play Billy has been a dream come true. A huge thank you to @esme.madi and @emiliatorello for creating such a great and safe environment to grow and perform and thank you to all of the cast and crew for an amazing last month and a half.

One thing I have to add, I genuinely love my job. I’m so grateful to work with people who encourage me to be myself and express my creativity. Photography is something I’m so passionate about, so getting to capture these beautiful moments and these amazing people made the night even more special.

MEET THE CAST: PIPER BODEN (HELEN) recently moved to Wilmington and has since been in complete awe of the theatre community. This spring, she made her Wilmington debut in TACT’s Hello, Dolly! (Ensemble) and PTPT’s Miscast Cabaret. High school credits include Anastasia (Anya), The Addams Family (Wednesday) and Something Rotten! (Ensemble). In the fall, Piper will be attending the University of Tampa as a BFA Musical Theatre student. She would like to thank the entire team of Carrie for putting together this thrilling production!
