ARTIST PROFILE // PHIL JACQUES Also joining our 3 very special guests on 18/07 is Mutations resident Phil Jacques. With standout sets at our previous parties - Phil is heavily influenced by the Spanish EBM meets Electro sound made relevant by labels such as Aspecto Humano and 22Recordings. You can also expect to hear New Beat, Industrial and Acid sounds filter into his music. Vastly experienced behind the turntables - Phil co-runs Cosmic Rodeo - another essential Manchester party; and hosts a fantastic vinyl only monthly radio series on Komrad radio. MUTATIONS PRESENT: EKATA + FAUX NAÏF T.O.P.P (Renae)//SAT 18TH JULY//9PM-3AM Mutations returns to the fantastic T.O.P.P @renae.mcr this Summer with 2 headlining guests in toe. We are delighted to be joined by EKATA @ekata____ an engineer of sci-fi influenced sonic environments where machine language and dystopian tension collide. Her sound operates in the shadows, blurring the lines between Electro, EBM, Techno and Acid. Expect a dark, driven, high energy performance. Alongside her is Faux Naïf @faux_naif - An exemplary tastemaker - she champions the most obscure tones of electronic music, informed by the anarchistic attitude aligned with 80s born goth genres. Joining the dots between EBM, New Beat, Wave and Techno - Come join us in the seductive underworld of her body music. Local talent and friend Rosie @miss_rosieannie also joins us for her Mutations debut. Best known for dark, driving, hypnotic trips, but incredibly versatile - She’s impressed across a huge variety of parties in a short time, and we can’t wait to see what she brings. Additional support comes from Mutations resident Phil Jacques @_pjacques Very limited early bird tickets on sale via RA link in bio. See you under the neon ⚡️
