what an eventful and beautiful month. i saw so many shows for so little money, consumed a lot of art, looked at a lot of old books, and celebrated the presence of new friends.

heathers! this cast was phenomenal and made this show everything i needed and more.

cats:the jellicle ball! what a special piece of queer bipoc media. the nonsensicality of cats pairs so well with same nonsensicality of queer culture. harlem ballroom is such a special art form and it was beautiful to see it honored on broadway!

found a garden before grabbing lunch with the amazing @abiamarachiii (tb to the washington center 🫣)

so incredibly grateful for this amazing group of people <3 i was sobbing when i got back to my apartment the night before i left. i’ve never met so many passionate, talented, and hardworking individuals. i’m so glad our paths crossed and i can’t wait to see where we all end up. hoping to see everyone again in the future when we’re all successful!!

Meet Mary Kate Abner (the creator of @girlfailureshow), and her co-star Diana Rendon, whose web series about heartbreak, friendship, and navigating your 20s is all too relatable. While Mary Kate and Diana are amazing actresses, their chemistry on camera doesn’t come as a surprise when you talk to the two of them off-script. Sitting next to each other on a couch in the same apartment where Girl Failure was filmed, it is clear that Mary Kate and Diana are real-life roommates and besties.
