Us riding away from a great housewarming @artscentremelbourne 🔥

Circus OZ had the privilege to perform a series of acts as part of Victoria’s state theatre re-opening! The theatre has undergone extensive renovations and who better to test out a new stage than a bunch on clowns on a bike!

Over one massive weekend the new and improved state theatre saw 20,000 people though it’s refurbished doors. What a delight it was to welcome Victorian’s home! 🎪

✨ Under Construction: Ensemble Straps Creative Development ✨

Over the past two weeks, Under Construction has supported the creative development of a new ensemble-based approach to the aerial straps discipline, culminating in a showing and artist talk with the creative team.

Led by Alonso Pineda, this research explored the possibilities of expanding what we know as straps work — investigating scale, rhythm, collective physicality, and the creation of fluid group movement in harmony with aerial straps performance.

Well done to the incredible artists who brought this exploration to life: Alonso Pineda, Leopold Pentland, Grace Law, Peter Giasoumi, Maya Chynoweth & Aoife Gordos.

“Here, There and Everywhere! is a deeply delightful, hugely entertaining show for the whole family. Sometimes there’s so much going on, you don’t know where to look. And sometimes there’s one thing so mesmerizing you cannot look away. Joyous, chaotic, bizarre and hilarious. As always.” - Theatre First

Come and see why the critics are raving! One more week melbourne! Ticket link in bio 🎟️
