And there my friends you have two hours of incredible young Australian acts who (as far as I know) haven't yet or are not about to leave Australia. These are the bands you should get behind because soon enough some of them will be blowing up and taking the world by storm, and who that is all comes down to you.

Go to local shows, support young bands by buying their merch and their CDs and telling your friends to listen to them. Then one day you can be that cool person who says they were at @gangcalledspeed's first show or saw @parkwaydriveofficial in a 150 cap room. Our scene is one of the best on the world, and it gets better with your support ❤️

The stream is now live on the ABC Listen App and website, so go stream this bad boy and then let me know, what new band did you discover from this week's show?

We've gone with a new guitar setup for our show tomorrow night @thetotehotel

If it works for Eric Clapton, it'll work for us. All you need to get that sweet 'woman' tone is an overdrive pedal and a tone knob on your strat . No need for those unnecessary pedalboards that make your guitar sound silly. Delay, and modulation sounds are like nails on a chalkboard anyway. All you need are straight up classic rock tones, and simple grooves to keep ya toes a tappin'.

Whilst tone is mostly in the fingers, tone wood definitely exists and makes the biggest difference. Just ask the geniuses in this guitar forum from 2006.

If you had enough time to read this shit, you have time to come to our gig tomorrow. ❤️ We'd love to see you there!
