My love and gratitude is limitless, so silly to squish it all in one post. Too much to say, but thank you to anyone I crossed paths with this year. It was a really good year. To many more years of taking care of one another, moving through, making noise and smoking things. See you next year!

In conversation with CJ, we talked about the process of transferring his techniques as a tattoo artist into creating a two dimensional piece of work to be displayed, replacing the limitless nature of skin with the borders of gallery walls. He expressed that he wanted to create a piece that would suit the atmosphere of the exhibit, describing it as carrying a “technological almost religious feeling” to it. CJ plans to engrave a piece of metal with his designs, an idea which came to fruition in response to the culmination of his feelings surrounding the event paired with inspiration drawn from a quote that Helsen stumbled upon when visiting a Church. The quote read “I will never leave or forsake you”. Chatting about the process behind his formation of this upcoming artwork further, he revealed “nothing spoke to me more than metal”, going on to describe the point of conceptualization as “a super physiological thing, it’s reflective of a lot”. To witness the finale of his creative musings, be certain to attend the Prima Garden exhibit on December 13th.

Saturday and Sunday, 12/13-12/14, super excited to be opening our installation with @_prima_garden_ at @residencyunlimited with the help of some of my greatest pals @sluttyhank and @lxievangelista This will be a legendary show that I am so grateful to be a part of. RSVP coming soon but save the date(s)! Opening is Saturday and will be open Sunday select hours for viewing.

We went to Iceland to location scout for our movie! It was a beautiful experience and we had an amazing time meeting beautiful people and seeing beautiful things. We'll be launching our crowdfunding campaign soon. I am super excited to share the concept photos we took, and we are very grateful for all the support and looking forward to sharing this work with you all and what this project has in store for us in the future!
