Up the Touge with my new V8 monster 🤩

After 6 months of keeping it quietly and working hard to get it in shape for its first testing, I decided that @driftmatsuri is the best event to drive it first...man it did not dissapoint!

Can anyone guess what car is it?

Will release some goodness from @_prismmedia very soon, for now, touge lap with no manji and no hydro, felt good to drive a car that isn't limiting me..crazy to think this is the best car I have ever owned in 19 years of drifting!

Special thank you to @matt_newton82 and @danduggan96 for all the help working on it and making it right, what a team! So glad we all got to enjoy it together !

I competed at @driftleague_gb Teeside Pro1 last weekend and it was a genuine rollercoaster of emotion. Finishing Top 8 however was unexpected.

Disco seized up on the way there, spent 6 hours in a services watching Dmec qualy with @loischarlottee. Missed Saturday practice. @shane.faber, @carlp_93 & @ryanhughes20 drove all the way to Teeside then all the way back to get my S15 and Disco and back to Teeside again… serious job that was.

Burst a brake line near enough immediately Sunday practice but luckily @alexwilliamsdrifting had what I needed to get back out.

Went into qualy with not much practice, bottled my first run as pushed too hard. Managed to get a score on with run 2. Qualified 18th overall.

In battles I was matched with a undermotorised @martinwonnacott100 in Top32. Went onto Top16 against a fast @arunas_narmontas. Progressed to Top8 against @teambennettdrifting where I was knocked out.

Not the best driving I’ve ever done, but new track, new tyres, not much practice and by all means a lot going on.

Biggest downfall definitely getting gapped off the line by just having too much wheel spin and then in my final battle, going too far the other way and being completely out of boost.

Massive thank you to @jay_w_350z & @zoecarter102 for doing the unthinkable and driving all the way from Bournemouth to Teeside with a spare towing vehicle and a truck + trailer to get everything home, genuinely unbelievable effort.
