The artist behind our latest anonymous Scordisci podcast is @_psykoterapi .

Also known as Julia Larsson, Psykoterapi is a Stockholm based DJ deeply rooted in Sweden’s underground techno scene.

Her journey into DJing came after years spent as part of a small town collective and organising parties, travelling to bigger cities in search of the raves and music that inspired her. That passion eventually led her behind the decks, where she has since become a growing presence across Stockholm’s underground scene.

Psykoterapi is a resident at @spektrum.ug, an underground rave concept, as well as @koordinat.underground, an underground club oriented platform. Her sets are characterised by fast paced dark grooves, trippy loops and minimalistic rhythms, creating an energetic and hypnotic experience that moves between body and mind.

We are very happy to welcome Psykoterapi to the Scordisci podcast series.

I wanna thank @dissidentsubculture and @armin.skyvibes for the opportunity of letting me open one of the best nights of my entire life, not only as a DJ but as a raver as well.
I've always suspected something awesome was going on in Sweden so I wanted to check it out for myself.
It's been almost a week now, and I'm still surprised by how both the city and the vibe completely overwhelmed my expectations.

Dancing to one of the greatest Argentine DJ's of our time @forestonstasys and some unbelievable sets from the local artists.
This night had it all, Tack så mycket! 🇸🇪

Wildstyle Studio is a members-based creative space in Uppsala, bringing together art, music, culture and people.

A home for exhibitions, live music, performances, listening sessions, creative dinners, launches and events with an artistic edge.

The Studio can be booked by artists, creators, brands and collectives who want to create something beyond the traditional event format.

Located in the heart of Främre Boländerna, Bergsbrunnagatan 22, Uppsala.

Wildstyle Studio is operated as an association, and access to the space and its events is for members.

PSYKOTERAPI

Stockholm-based DJ Psykoterapi has been deeply rooted in the underground. Before stepping behind the decks, she spent years immersed in the culture as a raver, collective member and event organiser — experiences that shaped the way she approaches the dancefloor today.

Since starting her journey as a DJ in 2023, she has quickly established herself as one of Stockholm’s fresh talents, becoming a resident at both Spektrum and Koordinat.

Her sets are driven by fast-paced, dark grooves, hypnotic loops, broken beats and minimalistic rhythms. Building tension and energy throughout, Psykoterapi creates an immersive, physical atmosphere where the music takes over and the dancefloor follows.

Not just because of all this, she also our friend and we are happy to have her playing at our first Invite event

For a decade, Villa Ockult has been lucky enough to be part of Stockholm’s cultural landscape — and even luckier to have had the freedom to make a living from the things we love.

A space for art.
A space to create.
A space to experiment, collaborate and express ourselves freely.

None of this would exist without all of you who have walked through our doors, trusted us with your skin, shared your ideas, opened doors and become part of the journey.

So now, we want to give something back.

On September 26th, we’re taking over Bar15 for a full day and night of tattoos, art, music, dancing and encounters.

This also marks the beginning of VILLA OCKULT INVITE — a new platform for bringing together artists, musicians and creators from different disciplines, giving them space to meet, experiment and do their thing.

Since tattooing has always been at the heart of Villa Ockult, we’ve invited 11 of our favourite local tattoo artists to join us for the day.
