Anna Borrero, aka anna andersrum, is a New York-born Berlin-based DJ active in the bass scene. She co-founded the electro-breaks event series MACHINE LEARNING and co-hosts the breaks and bass-focused radio show Chaotic Goods on Subtle Radio. Her passion for East Coast hip hop evolved naturally into a love for breakbeats, electro and bass-driven sounds. In her sets, she weaves together bass-heavy electro, breaks, dubstep and jungle, often packed with squelchy 303 lines and productions sourced from across the globe. Anna is a member of the FLINTA* soundsystem crew, Angel Audio.

Happy Release Day!

Exploring the shifting pressure, texture and atmosphere of contemporary underground psychedelia @_ebbs_flows presents ‘Phase Weather’, a 19-track Various Artist release!

Moving through half-time weight, broken trance, deep drone, mental tribe rhythms and experimental bass structures, the compilation gathers artists working across the edges of club music and altered listening. Rather than following a fixed line, Phase Weather moves like a change in conditions: low pressure, humid space, distorted signals, hidden landscapes and unstable inner states passing through the system.

Across the release, organic percussion meets heavy low-end movement, ritualistic tones dissolve into high-tempo patterns, and controlled structures give way to intuition, decay and atmosphere. There is a constant sense of transformation here - sound emerging from silence, rhythm folding into texture, and familiar forms gradually slipping out of shape.

With Phase Weather, Ebbs & Flows offers a collection built on subtle tension, deep listening and system-minded experimentation, where each track feels less like a destination and more like a shift in the room.

Obligatory artist recap post!!! 🚨🚨

Fr tho this year has been busy as shit. Ommaya had 7 releases and we were able to feature some amazing artists. I had over 9 releases (9 pictured because it fit nicely). We procured and refurbished a Funktion One system. Had a few unforgettable shows with some talented friends. A bit of travel and had the opportunity to attend and play some amazing little festivals.

Wanted to shout out the labels and artists who’ve helped release or support my releases:) feeling very fortunate to have connected with so many like minded individuals. So many more artists have played the tracks in radio sets throughout the year, we love u 🥰

6 months on @rinsefm!

on the day i was going to record this show a pipe burst in my bedroom wall and the maintenance guy had to spend all day tearing up the wall and replacing it so i almost didn’t submit something this month…somehow ended up pulling a show together last minute and it turned out to be my favorite one of this residency.

bunch of halftime faves in the 150-170 zone, loads of recently released music from friends inside. tracklist at the end and you can listen to it in the usual place.
