Yesterday’s Start The Peace event, led by STL Legends @kyjuanstl & @murphderrty, challenged St. Louis’s most violent label head-on. STL is full of strong, beautiful people, untapped community power, and real leaders making change.

We brought BGG gaming live on Twitch right into the heart of the community. It was not just for fun, but to create new ways to connect and build peace within our community.

Thanks to everyone who showed up and gave time and energy. But this is just the start. Change begins with us stepping up and owning it. How will you take action?

St. Louis is more than its reputation. We’re the ones who decide its future.

“Love” is an essential in my catalog, if you’ve ever seen me and my live band perform then you know this song. If you’ve been on this journey with me since 2020 then you know this song. This is what I mean by this album was me really finding my sound and my voice in hip hop. S/O @_push.forward_ for being a director as well as a videographer. #undergroundhiphop #smoothrap #chillrap #erykahbadu #jcole

PRE-Order NOW!!!!
Scorpion Ground Publishing proudly presents Coulter Jacobs: In the Direction of the Beginning, a noir descent into the world of a painter whose work feels at once familiar and essential.

Born in LA, Jacobs lives and works in San Pedro. By day, a Water Utility Worker for the LADWP. By every other hour, a multidisciplinary artist whose practice bridges painting, sculpture, and writing. That balance of creative devotion and working-class discipline runs through everything he makes. Drawing on years spent inside tattoo culture, Jacobs brings an authentic eye to traditional tattoo imagery, honoring its language while filtering it through noir and abstraction to arrive somewhere entirely his own.

After losing his studio and archive to a fire in 2017, Jacobs rebuilt from the ground up. What emerged is a body of work about endurance, memory, and the enduring act of creation.

A hardback, case bound limited edition. Over 380 pages of drawings, photographs, paintings, and ephemera.

Now preselling. Ships holiday 2026 (expected November, subject to change).

Choosing faith over fear. ✨
Even when I’m camera shy (hi @_push.forward_ 👋), I’m learning that worry has no place in my healing journey. “Don’t Be Worryin’” is my anthem for enjoying motherhood. Between prayer, faith, and my daily magnesium, I’m finding my calm. 💙

We are proud to partner with @thegentlemenofvision at their Step Camp held at the North County Rec Center.
Gentlemen of Vision is the nation’s most accomplished youth step organization. Their camp is where discipline is built, confidence is earned, and brotherhood begins.

We brought gaming and esports to the youth at their camp, combining the art of stepping with the excitement of gaming.

What makes this partnership even more special is the full circle moment. Our founder @robbruhbruh first connected with Gentlemen of Vision back in 2015 during his donation management days when he helped raise funds for their organization. Ten years later, we had the honor of gaming with their next generation of steppers.

Together, we leveled up youth one step and one game at a time. 🚀🎉

St. Louis always takes the hard fights. Like our good sister @coribush who brought real issues to Congress before it was trendy, it’s the same thing with independence.

We’ve been taking on the industry since they told us in a label office we’d never make it preaching that blk power shit during Ferguson.

Now artists are benefitting from the sweat equity & pain we put in for this. I’m happy they’re standing up. I’m happy yall eyes are open.

Remember where it started though. This is St. Louis.

Live from the Darkroom live concert album coming soon.

Shots out to the amazing artists & band members standing with me. @officiallordell @dhorubamusic @bobby.bearyjay @mediaoutlaws @klick_klack_5 @shailynn_music @gthesinger @dj_grind_tyme

I want to thank everybody who came & made history with us.

The response has been nothing less than magical.

Live production of the album will start asap, and for those who been asking my dog @_push.forward_ is working on a highlight reel and I will also release extended live performance footage soon as my dog @matthewsawicki get done with the audio.

Thank you to @thedarkroomstl for being a catalyst for indie musicians here & going above and beyond capturing this audio for me.

To my band mates,
@mediaoutlaws @klick_klack_5 @officiallordell @bobby.bearyjay @dhorubamusic @gthesinger @shailynn_music @dj_grind_tyme
Couldn’t have did this without you.

I can’t wait to share this project with you all. Stay tuned.

Scorpion Front Publishing proudly presents Coulter Jacobs: In the Direction of the Beginning, a noir descent into the world of a painter whose work feels at once familiar and essential.

Born in Los Angeles, Jacobs lives and works in San Pedro. By day, he is a Water Utility Worker for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. Every other hour is devoted to a multidisciplinary practice spanning painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, and writing.

Drawing on years spent within tattoo culture, Jacobs brings an authentic eye to traditional tattoo imagery, honoring its visual language while filtering it through noir, memory, and abstraction to arrive somewhere entirely his own.

Making these books is truly a labor of love. The amount of time, energy, money, and stress that goes into bringing one of these projects to life is hard to explain unless you’ve been through it yourself.

We continue to archive, publish, and preserve tattoo history because if tattooers don’t do it now, no one will. These stories, collections, and legacies deserve to be documented before they’re lost to time.

We’re eternally grateful to the tattoo community for supporting these projects through preorders and patiently waiting months for them to arrive. Not a single person who preordered this book got upset about the wait, which says a lot about the kind of community we’re fortunate to be a part of.

All Preorders are being shipped out over the next week.

A special thank you goes to @body_graphics_tattoo for opening up his family collection and trusting us to help share this incredible piece of tattoo history with all of you.

If you haven’t grabbed your copy yet, now is the time. Once they’re gone, they’re gone, and this book will sell out.

One love,

Scorpion Front Publishing
