🚨 BREAKING: ADP Jobs Report Misses Expectations

📉 U.S. private employers added just 44,000 jobs in July, missing the consensus estimate of 65,000.

A weaker-than-expected ADP report could signal a cooling labor market and puts even more attention on Friday’s Nonfarm Payrolls report.

👀 Why traders should care:
• Lower hiring can increase expectations for future Fed rate cuts.
• Markets may see higher volatility as investors reassess the economy.
• Friday’s jobs report now becomes an even bigger market-moving event.

The market isn’t just reacting to the number. It’s reacting to what this could mean for interest rates and the economy going forward.

📊 Are you expecting a beat or miss on Friday’s Nonfarm Payrolls?

🚨 APPLE CRUSHES EARNINGS… BUT THERE’S A CATCH. 🍏

Apple just delivered its strongest June quarter ever.

📈 Revenue: $109.4B (+16% YoY)
📱 iPhone Revenue: $54.3B (+22% YoY)

But despite the record numbers, CEO Tim Cook warned of what he called a “100-year flood” in memory pricing. The company has already raised prices on Macs and iPads, and if supply constraints continue, iPhone pricing could eventually face pressure too.

To top it off, Apple guided for 9-11% growth next quarter, a slower pace than Wall Street was expecting.

Now the spotlight shifts to John Ternus, who takes over as Apple’s next CEO.

Can he keep Apple’s momentum alive, or will rising costs and supply constraints slow the tech giant down?

🚨 Meta just made its priorities crystal clear.

For the first time in years, Meta paused stock buybacks while continuing its dividend and taking on roughly $25 billion in new debt.

Why?

Because the AI race isn’t cheap.

Instead of rewarding shareholders through buybacks, Meta is pouring capital into data centers, chips, and the infrastructure needed to power the next generation of artificial intelligence.

This is a major shift in capital allocation. Big Tech is moving from financial engineering to infrastructure spending.

The message from Zuckerberg is simple:

The companies investing the most in AI today believe they’ll dominate tomorrow.

Do you see Meta’s aggressive AI spending paying off in the long run, or is Wall Street underestimating the risks?

🚨 Analyst Update: Microsoft ($MSFT)

Scotiabank reaffirmed its Sector Outperform rating on Microsoft but trimmed its price target to $550 from $600.

📉 Why the lower target?
• Ongoing concerns over heavy AI infrastructure spending (capex)
• Near-term pressure on margins as Microsoft continues investing aggressively in AI

📈 Why they’re still bullish?
• Azure remains one of the strongest cloud platforms positioned to benefit from the AI boom
• Long-term growth driven by AI, Copilot, and enterprise cloud adoption remains intact

Bottom line: Analysts see near-term investment headwinds, but the long-term AI thesis for Microsoft remains strong.

Do you think Microsoft’s AI investments will pay off over the next few years? 👇
