After I had my two boys and experienced the stillbirth of my 3rd son, I realized how important it is for mothers to have a village support her throughout her motherhood journey. Many women, myself included, experience a decline in their mental health after becoming mothers. That is why I am so excited to be bringing back the mom walk, because sometimes all we really need is a nature walk and some fresh air🌳🥹! If you missed our first walk, you won’t want to miss this one! Join us next week Saturday for The Walking Mommies - Nature Walk to experience a day of new connections and great conversations. You can come with or without the kids, the choice is yours! 📍Meet at High Park sign (Bloor St W and Colborne Lodge Dr) 🗓️ May 25th | 1pm-3pm 📲 Share this post to your mom friend and click the link in bio to reserve your spot! #momadventures #momgroups #momsupportingmoms #torontomoms #torontomomblogger

Elevating the voices of Black artists! 🎨 Cassels Art Auction, curated by RISE, showcased incredible works from talented Black artists. • Andre Lopez ~@sunofaquarius • Joshua Hy ~ @thedezinr • Phillip Saunders ~ @ahayahisone • Wayne Moore ~ @wjmoore34 • Jesus Bondo ~ @sublime.pursuit • Hammed Babatunde ~ @hammedix_art • Gordon Rowe ~ @roweart • Amanda Chigumira ~ @_queen.amanda_ Atswei With support from Cassels, the art is still available for bidding and purchase. https://www.32auctions.com/CasselsBHMArtAuction ~ ( Link in Bio) We sat down with each artist to discuss the impact of this opportunity and how it can elevate their art game. After three pieces sold internally, we’re extending the auction to the public! Check out these artists—they offer more artwork beyond the auction, including custom pieces. Spread the word and support Black artists—whether by purchasing or promoting, your support makes a difference! A very special shoutout to Cassels Law @cassels_law for their ongoing support—past funders of our legal artivism program and advocates for Black artists across Canada. Through collaborations, we’ve activated their head offices in Vancouver, Alberta, and Ontario, providing paid performance opportunities for Black artists. Let’s continue to amplify Black voices in the arts! ⭐️✊🏾 #SupportBlackArtists #CasselsArtAuction #LegalArtivism #riseedt

Im pro- bring them kids everywhere! My little rider 🥲. I’ve packed orders with him on my back, breastfed during zoom business calls, we paint together and when I eventually do a Ted talk he’ll be in the front row. He won’t even let me cook dinner alone, he’s in there talking up a storm and making a blender with the salad spinner 😅. Beyond grateful to have been a part of this year’s Nuit Blanche: Breaking Ground exhibit by @madewell.productions and @northlovearts. It was a very fitting theme for me since I’ve had so many changes in the last year breaking new ground into tech and re-discovering my love for art. 🗓️ @nuitblancheto 📸 @abz.jpegg 📍 @donondanforth #artislife #momlife #nuitblanche2023
