USSSA World Series 2026 San Diego was the best week! Bat Bros 9u Majors showed up and showed out! They fought through the heat, the competition and battled! We went 4-1, being the only undefeated team in pool play. I am so damn proud of this team! The boys, the coaches and the families are the best around and we couldn’t have asked for a better week! The memories will last forever! Multiple beach days with all the boys boogie boarding together (the coaches and I even got out there 🙃), the meals, the hangs all week together at the hotel and the meaningful conversations and bonding. Couldn’t ask for more! Until next tournament, and onto 10u!!! Let’s go Bat Bros!!!!! ⚾️💗🩵☀️🌴🌊

To My Dear Children,
I hope you learn to remember on hard days, or weeks, or months that there will be days like today. There will be days that shout at you about how exciting and wonderful life can be. Then you can go to bed peaceful and unafraid because more great days lie ahead. Tomorrow might be hard. But it’s coming.

Six years ago today, I had one of those days — the kind where you catch yourself at ease and simply happy. It inspired me to write this note to my kids. Ironically, most of the time it feels like I wrote it for myself.
I find myself coming back to it often.
It also sparked something in me: the desire to write and illustrate a book for my children, filled with my own life lessons and quiet reminders. This felt like the perfect one to share first.
