I am a very logical 🤖 kind of person, but here I give free rein to my dummy artistic side: nail art 💅 and photography 📷.

A few weeks back there was a lovely pattern for #patternWednesday (hosted by @_rebenice_) that I was all excited for, and had a technique all planned out for, but I ended up feeling unwell & was unable to join in in time. I couldn't let go of the the technique idea, though, so here's my unofficial mani for that week's pattern on a not-Wednesday! I feel like that matte top coat (a nod to the matte, powder-finish of the nude base polish) really enhanced the final effect; & I think I'd like to explore the technique again in future with other colours.

Always a joy to participate in the #patternWednesday (hosted by @_Rebenice_) challenge (sorry to any tryophobia sufferers for this one, though it's probably already too late for the heads up!). :) This week has a bright & fresh green-themed abstract inspo. While my plan for the technique didn't work out exactly how I'd hoped, the darkest dots really help to tie the mani together & I think the overall vibe matches pretty well. Unfortunately the sun didn't want to come out to play for the pictures, so indoor lighting it is! Plus the colours are lovely! :)
Other participants for the week are listed in the comments :)

So, so glad to be able to participate in another #patternWednesday (hosted by @_Rebenice_) challenge despite my current chaos-posting schedule! Also very pleased to be able to combine this with the 'Hello Spring' prompt for #NailsWithIGFriends (alternate hashtag: NWIGFHelloSpring) hosted by @inlovewithpolish1234. The pattern is a colourful floral without being overly bright or cheerful - feels like a good fit for the transitional nature of this time of year 🌸 And not needing much more than a dotting tool & a little brush to achieve!
Other participants for both challenges are listed in the comments :)
