Two posts in one week?? Verify me already 💁‍♀️

Last time I went to Austin I spent more time on 6th street than a bed so I needed a redemption weekend. And when bestie shriya said I could stay with her I LEAPED at the opportunity to have a much needed catchup weekend with her. And Austin has some great grub so I decided to check it out! Here are my thoughts 👇

Zeds🍦: idk now many traffic laws we “bent” in order to get to this place but it was well worth it. Zeds does fruity ice cream and I went with a piña colada inspired creation because while my spring break wasn’t at the beach, I needed some of those tropical vibes. Solid 8.3/10 it was so yummy but a little pricy, but still well worth it.

Kerbey lane: this classic brunch spot is filled with hometown opps, campus characters, and long lost friends from hs. Shriya and I did a classic savory + sweet split. I can’t lie the migas were lowkey bland but once we added hot sauce it was fye. The pancakes were SO YUM make sure to add the cinnamon swirl if you go (thank you @sara_bou_hamdan for the rec) migas were 7/10 post hot sauce and pancakes were 8/10.

Chat Patta: I was craving some Indian food so we headed to a campus classic chat patta. We were too busy gabbing so our food got cold but it was still buss.
Chicken paratha tacos: 7.7/10
Tikka roll: 6/10
Chaat: 7/10
Butter chicken: 6.5/10
Paneer paratha tacos: 7/10

Chipotle: it’s chipotle idk 6.5/10

ANYWAYS overall this was a #sucessful redemption weekend. Austin has some fire food and I’m so glad I got to experience the city with ma frands 🫶

Xoxo, your fav big back
