honestly, stockholm is not my favourite place — its layout makes no sense to me, and i sometimes felt overly observed and a bit too much for having done very little at all. i guess i blame the dress — prada ss23, to preempt your enquiry!

it’s pretty much the same feeling i left with the last time i was there a decade ago, when i ‘lived’ in the city for a month or so after my berlin crash-out, invited by my since-late best friend who was there on a weirdly long handstand course (?!).

there were a couple of things that made the other weekend truly worthwhile, though: dear sister @_robindouglas_, whose 30th was the prompt for being there in the first place; my quietly resplendent suite at @stockholmstadshotell, a property that felt like the most immaculate scandi-chic pinterest brought to life (book the ‘bastu’, the private sauna and cold plunge, for every day you’re there for the love of GOD); the meatballs at riche and pelikan; the 2am twilight.

it also felt fitting to be in the home of ‘vemod’, a mood that has defined my summer against my will. you can go look that up, but, to me anyway, it’s nice to attribute certain feelings to a physical home. it gives me good reason, one day, to return to stockholm. vi ses! 🇸🇪 xoxo

SFC [Incubator] @augustbarron launched its Magazine, ALL–IN Nº9, ”Sleeping Beauty” in Paris on 27 June, hosted by @ourlegacy

“Sleeping Beauty,” centers around reawakening dormant subjects in contemporary fashion imagery and the fairytale: “an invented or unlikely story, especially one intended to deceive.”

JURY PANEL ANNOUNCEMENT 2026

From July 2–3, our international jury gathers at the SO/Vienna @so.vienna for two days of deliberation and careful selection.

We are happy to welcome Alex Kessler @_alexkessler, Britta Song @brittasong, Eugene Rabkin @eugenerabkin, Jonathan Lee @_jona_jona and Robin Douglas Westling @_robindouglas_ to the panel.

Alex Kessler is Deputy Editor at i-D Magazine, previously Lead Editor at SSENSE and Fashion News Editor at British Vogue. An editor, writer, and creative consultant, he champions emerging talent with a particular focus on internet culture, subcultures, and the shifting zeitgeist.

Britta Song brings over twenty years of experience in the fashion industry as Worldwide Commercial Director and Business Developer for renowned brands including Margiela, Raf Simons, and Ann Demeulemeester. Currently she holds the role of worldwide commercial director at Taiga Takahashi.

Eugene Rabkin is a writer, critic, and founder of StyleZeitgeist, an independent fashion media platform launched in 2006, featuring a magazine and podcast examining fashion and culture critically. He has contributed to the New York Times, the Financial Times, T Magazine China, Air Mail, the Business of Fashion, 032c, Arena Homme+, and Highsnobiety, among others.

Jonathan Lee is Co-founder of The Molecule, with a career spanning Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. He worked as a buyer for Shine in Hong Kong, and held senior roles at Tomorrow Ltd and Ryodan Showroom, shaping wholesale strategy for avant-garde labels across Asia. Now an independent strategic consultant, he continues developing projects including Tokyo Fashion Week, Seoul Fashion Week, and the Swedish Fashion Council.

Robin Douglas Westling is a Stockholm-based fashion entrepreneur and founder of RDW, where he serves as Director, while also holding the role of PR Director at OUR LEGACY. Over a decade in the fashion industry, he has shaped the Nordic creative scene, notably as Creative Director at the Swedish Fashion Council, and remains a driving force in building a global platform for fashion and culture.
