This year feels different.
Not because everything is perfect, but because somewhere along the way, I realised I had spent so much time being everything to everyone else that I had forgotten to be me.

I disappeared, became a mum, life happened and now I’m figuring out who the hell I am again.

I grew. I changed. I experienced things that humbled me, challenged me, stretched me and forced me to see life differently. There were seasons where I barely recognised the woman looking back at me in the mirror.

I stopped creating. I stopped showing up, and honestly,I lost myself a little bit.

But I’m finding her again.

The funny girl. The ambitious girl. The woman who loves dressing up, laughing until her stomach hurts, creating, dreaming, being silly and taking up space. The woman who has always had so much more inside her.

And somewhere in all of this, I’ve also realised just how blessed I am to have the most wonderful people around me.

My friends reminded me that even when life gets busy, when I disappear into motherhood and forget to celebrate myself, there are people who still see me. People who know my heart, make me laugh, encourage me, love me through every version of myself and show up when it matters.

The love I felt this birthday meant more than I can put into words. From the messages and calls to the thoughtful surprises, the cake, and my beautiful best friends secretly decorating a whole room just to make me feel special…

Those little things reminded me that I am loved, celebrated and never alone.

So here’s to another year🥂
To becoming softer without becoming smaller.
To choosing myself without guilt.
To creating again.
To laughing again.
To taking more pictures.
To chasing the things that make me feel alive.
To the friends that remind me who I am when I forget.
To motherhood, womanhood, growth, healing and everything in between.

I don’t have myself completely figured out yet… but I’m excited to meet the woman I’m becoming.

Happy birthday to me.
She’s back… and this time, she’s bringing everything with her.
