A huge congratulations to our East Rutherford High School nursing fundamentals students!

We are incredibly proud of all 10 of our students who have successfully passed their state exams and are now officially Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)!

Their commitment, perseverance, and passion for healthcare have lead them here and we cannot wait to see where their journey in healthcare takes them next.

Well done, students—you’ve earned it!

East Rutherford High School Nursing Fundamentals Students Teach at ICC Expo

Today, our East Rutherford High School Nursing Fundamentals class had the incredible opportunity to teach at the ICC Expo! Our students led engaging and educational stations for visiting middle schoolers, sharing essential health and safety knowledge in fun, hands-on ways.

One group demonstrated life-saving skills like CPR and the Heimlich maneuver, while another taught the importance of proper hand hygiene to prevent the spread of illness. A third group focused on vital signs assessments, helping students understand how to check heart rate, respiration, and more.

The middle school students were enthusiastic and involved throughout, and we’re so proud of our Nursing Fundamentals students for their professionalism, energy, and passion for teaching. They made learning memorable and meaningful today!
Special mention - Thank you, Mrs. Hardin for helping out today.
