Sorry this post is a little late, but thank you so much to everyone who came to the pop-up on the 6th @convos.cafe 🌪️🏘️🖍️
This time, we were not only joined by Japanese creators, but also by French creators. Through @hidden.origins.paris , I felt so happy to be able to support talented creators and designers who may not be widely known yet, regardless of nationality.
When I was little, my favorite attraction at Disneyland was “It’s a Small World.” There’s a line in the song about how, no matter where you are in the world, there is laughter and tears, and people help each other in this small world. Inside the ride, there are dolls from all over the world dancing in their traditional clothes, with different skin tones, hairstyles, and languages. It’s such a cute and magical experience.
I loved it so much that I would ride it over and over again like crazy. Even as a child, it made me feel so comfortable. At the same time, it inspired me to dream of connecting with people from many different countries when I grew up. It also helped me naturally believe that we are all human, and that the world is one.
That’s why this pop-up meant so much to me. Seeing people from different countries meeting for the first time, creating connections, sharing spaces, discovering cafés, and interacting beyond borders—it all felt so natural, like “the world” is just one shared place. I’m truly happy that I could play even a small part in creating that.
There’s still a long way to go, and I know I need to keep working hard, but I hope this platform will continue to grow little by little. I would really appreciate your continued support.
Thank you so much for all the love!
