It’s been a year since I had to say goodbye to my best friend, my baby girl, my everything — Bella.

She wasn’t just a dog. She was my daughter in so many ways. My shadow. My comfort. My big, mushy girl that I prayed for with a full heart — and somehow God gave me exactly what I asked for.

She was a rescue, but truthfully… she rescued me.

There are days I can’t even look at her pictures unless I set aside the time to feel it. To sit with it. To let the memories come without rushing them away. Even now, just writing this, I’m crying. That kind of love doesn’t disappear. It just changes form.

Putting her to rest was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. A piece of me went quiet that day. But what brings me peace is knowing she knew love. She knew safety. She knew what it felt like to be chosen, protected, and adored every single day of her life.

She was my heart outside of my body.
And she always will be. 🕊️

It’s so easy to get caught up in the gifts, the wrapping, the excitement—and don’t get me wrong, those things are beautiful. But the real blessing of this season is deeper. It’s family. It’s togetherness. It’s gratitude. It’s sitting in the moment and realizing how rare and sacred it is to be surrounded by the people you love. When you honor that… when you slow down and remember that Jesus is the reason for this season—it hits different. I am Truly thankful

Family is one of God’s greatest gifts — a reminder of His love made tangible. 💛 Moments like these with my grandma, my mom, my sister, and my husband fill my spirit and remind me what truly matters. It’s in family that we find strength, joy, and purpose — the kind of love that fuels every day.

Most people see the serious side of me… but my fur babies see the side that smiles the most. 🐾❤️ They’re my comfort, my joy, my little pieces of happiness in this world.

Just a beautiful day spent with my sister, mom, and husband—good food, good movie, and even better memories. Thankful to God for the gift of togetherness and the peace that only He provides.
