10 weeks with our little angel. 🤍🕊️🌈

I never imagined that when I shared our pregnancy announcement, I would also be sharing our goodbye.

Today, we went into our ultrasound expecting to see our baby growing and hear that little heartbeat again. Instead, we learned that our baby had stopped growing and there was no longer a heartbeat. We are absolutely devastated.

I wondered if I should still share this video, but watching the screams, tears, hugs and pure joy reminded me that this part of our baby’s story matters too.

Before the heartbreak, there was so much happiness.

Our baby was wanted. Our baby was celebrated. Our baby had an entire village already waiting to love them. And for 10 beautiful weeks, I got to be their mom.

I’m sharing this because pregnancy loss touches so many families, yet so much of it happens quietly. Behind every loss is a baby someone dreamed about, prayed for, made plans for and loved long before they ever got to hold them.

I will never regret celebrating our little life so loudly.

Thank you to our village for loving our baby with us.

June & July life snap shot drop…things have been busy and so good.
To do the work - physically, spiritually, mentally…and see it all start to pay off is the dream. I might “fail” but I can’t help but be proud of what I have done and who I have met along the way and no matter what happens enjoy the journey and know it was all worth it.
