“I’m here to have a great time and be humble and good, because I’m a faithful Black man.” We know that's right, Kodak (@agentkodak)! Lol. Sashea (@_sashea1 ) was outside for the VSU Homecoming Day Party at the Civic, catching up with the Trojans and asking the questions we REALLY wanted answers to! Are you keeping it sweet or spicy this weekend? Are you dodging somebody or hoping to run into them? And as alumni, what’s the one thing you miss most about college? From memories of Fried Chicken Wednesday at the caf to unanswered DMs and folks claiming they’re on their best behavior, the Trojans had PLENTY to say! One thing about Homecoming, the stories are just as good as the parties! @teamfacejay #VSUHomecoming #VirginiaStateUniversity #HBCUHomecoming

See you outside, Trojans! #VSUHomecoming #VirginiaStateUniversity #vsu #HBCUHomecoming

The seasons are changing, and our self-care routines usually change right along with them. Maybe you’re adding more moisture back into your skin care, switching up your hair routine, getting serious about your vitamins or simply making more time to slow down and reset. What products, rituals or little luxuries are you adding to your self-care routine this season? Drop them in the comments — we might need to add a few to our list. 👀 📸: @_sashea1 #SelfCare #FallReset #BeautyRoutine

When the brands you love show up on your HBCU campus, it hits a little different. @_sashea1 caught up with students at the SheaMoisture (@sheamoisture) x Walmart (@walmart) #SheaversityOnTheYard activation to talk hair care lessons and why it matters when major brands show up for HBCU students. From learning that moisture really is the assignment to seeing a brand as familiar as SheaMoisture pull up to their campus, the students had a few things to say. And Sashea’s alum response? “I clocked that.” Because HBCUs may not always get the same spotlight, but the culture, influence and community have always been here. 📍 Virginia State University #SheaMoisture #VSU #HBCU #HBCUCulture
