Those are always the photos that end up feeling the most like you! Are you team posed photos or the candid in between?

Happy 21st birthday to this BEAUTIFUL WOMAN that I get to call my Fiancée! I am so proud of the woman you are! God has been so amazing to us and it makes me so happy to be able to walk through life with you by my side! My best friend, love, game partner, basketball loving, travel partner, music lover, my shotgun rider through it all, and most importantly my hand to hold in prayer! I love you! My biggest blessing! 🩵

the people make the program & these people mean everything to me.

officially a retired basketballer & couldn’t be more grateful for each moment & person who has impacted my basketball journey.

dave, thank you for taking a chance on this freshman volleyball player & never looking back. I don’t know if I’ll ever have the words to describe how important you are to me.

NO MATTER WHAT, JESUS YOU WON TODAY, EVERYDAY, & IN MY LIFE. I am forever indebted to @uca.wbb 💚💚💚💚

Thank you Jesus for another amazing year. My favorite year yet, surrounded by so much love. Friendships old and new, and people that I can’t imagine living without. People who opened their home to us, and ones that showed up to help us build ours. I have never felt the overwhelming gratitude that I feel right now.
Above all else Thank God, Thank you for waking me up everyday, and blessing me unimaginably. Here’s to 2026, I hope that it’s everything we all wish for and more 🤍

Uwharrie Charter Women’s Basketball is excited to announce Savannah Surratt as the JV Girl’s Assistant Coach!

Coach Surratt is a 2023 graduate of Uwharrie Charter Academy where she was a four year varsity player for Coach Austin Davis. She was also the first college basketball commit in school history, signing to play at Brunswick Community College before injuries altered her career. Coach Surratt still holds school records for most charges taken in a game, season, and career, as well as the most 3 pointers made in a season. Savannah was an integral part of the successful development of our program and we are thrilled to welcome back one of our own!

To everyone else it’s just a date, to me it’s the day that I truly felt what it meant to be alive. To feel so strongly for someone that you know in that moment that you want to do nothing less then spend every day for the rest of eternity with them by your side. I am so thankful that God has blessed me with this beautiful woman to do that exact thing with. My best friend, my love, my hand to hold in prayer, my adventure/travel partner, most importantly my missing rib! You are everything that makes me whole! Every day is such blessing with you. I am so thankful for this year and every single one that has yet to come! I love you Savannah! 🩵
