Thank you so much @ionadanceteam ❤️💛 for having me for a masterclass!
I had so much fun I loved learning new combos for hiphop and pom!
-

It was a bit challenging since it was my first time doing pom but I loved every minute of it, and dancing with @daniella.dance23 by my side again 🥺🥺 made it so worth it. The team was so positive and welcoming- I will definitely be back!!

Truly the most abrupt and unplanned chapter of my life, yet one that I truly believe God knew I needed long before I did. This journey pushed me to lean on my faith more than I ever have and reminded me that it is a privilege to always remain a student of the game.

These kiddos have given me far more than I could have ever given them. Their laughter energizes me, their eagerness to grow motivates me, their achievements make me unbelievably proud, and, more than anything, their faith keeps me going. If there’s one thing this chapter reaffirmed, it’s that my greatest dream has never changed: one day, I hope to be a dad.

It was important to me that my time here meant more than performances or wins. I wanted to ensure the unequivocal hard work of our founders and every former captain who poured into this program was cemented within Iona’s history at a critical time where it was on the line. Serving this team during its tenth year of existence has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and I can’t wait to watch the new heights they’ll reach under the next incredible new leadership.

To every coach, mentor, and friend who poured into me and my kiddos along the way, thank you. It truly takes a village. Every lesson, correction, opportunity, and conversation shaped the kind of coach I became. To my UDA/UCA family, thank you for welcoming me with open arms and reminding me why this community is so special.

And to my forever partner in crime my work wife thank you for making this journey unforgettable. We laughed through the chaos, celebrated every milestone, leaned on each other when things got tough, and somewhere along the way you gave me another title I’m most proud of: the happiest uncle ever. I wouldn’t trade this chapter for the world.

To the parents, thank you for trusting me with your children. Being entrusted with someone’s child is a privilege I have never taken lightly.

My heart is full. Forever grateful for this chapter. Forever proud of these kids.

Light work, no reaction, let’s go ;)
