SIZE DOESN’T MEASURE MOTOR. ♻️

One athlete who stuck out to us during Wired Axcess Plug-N-Play Coverage was #Uncommitted ’27 Millard North Mustang Caden Cox.

At 5’9”, he’s going to find himself staring across from bigger bodies.

So how do you respond?

FIND A WAY TO DISRUPT. 👀

Cox finished with:

🔥 5 tackles
⬇️ 1 TFL
💥 1 sack

But we captured three different plays, and that’s where this reel gets interesting.

Watch #27 work.

⚡ Quickness
💪 Leverage
👐 Active hands
♻️ Motor
🎯 Find the football
💥 Finish

And one of the things that stood out most?

The effort didn’t disappear when the first attempt didn’t immediately win.

Whether he’s working one-on-one or dealing with more traffic, the mentality stays the same:

KEEP WORKING.

Not every disruptive defensive rep starts with completely beating somebody off the snap.

Sometimes it’s staying alive long enough to affect the play anyway.

Three plays. Same mentality.

There’s more football ahead for this #Uncommitted ’27, and we’re interested to see where the continued development takes him.

DEFENSIVE COACHES 👀 — what jumps out first: LEVERAGE, QUICKNESS, HANDS or MOTOR?
