Q7. How do you know when a piece is done? -

ANSWER -It is hard to say because there were poems that I thought were finished but then I would go back a week later and have a new idea about what I wanted to do with it. What I can say is there are moments where I would read one of my poems and just feel like the words roll together in just the right way and I think that is generally how I know that my work is done.

👉🏼 According to a survey carried out by @unwomencaribbean across 5 CARICOM countries surveyed, there are more than 33% of partnered women that have experienced sexual violence in their lifetime.

Are you ready to end this
reality for women and girls? ✊🏾

This is my "Write to Fight" entry for Miss Teen Awareness Poetry Competition called 'Crowns' .

It's my way of saying put down the crown that pulls us down and gives us more than we can choose to please everyone, thinking it's our own sense of happiness. So put on your own and be yourself as being "perfect" to the world isn't perfect to yourself. Your imperfections are what make you perfect in your own way so release yourself and be free!
