My song More To Life is OUT!!!!

Sometimes we experience people, places and spaces that take you on a path you maybe didn’t expect. The making of the video for More To Life was exactly that! We were meant to shoot this video over the coarse of a day but God laughs while we’re busy making plans! It quite literally rained on our parade. We decided to do another day of filming with a looser approach, led by our fearless director Shan, we chose to let conversation lead and see where it takes us. What followed was a day full of wonderful moments, sharing and community. Finished off with an impromptu jam session in Gillett square. Thank you to all the people places and spaces that made this possible.

„More To Life“ was Moses Boyd’s first fully composed song for the new album, and his first lyrics. Jazz looseness toughens into rugged drum & bass while Shantéh sings faith and doubt like testimony. „Criticise“ went after judgment dressed up as concern; this one sits with the person on the receiving end.

Songs For Sinners out October 30.

THE TROY BAR AVENGERS 😆❤️
Look at these incredible people! — my longest-serving hosts and some of the real superheroes behind Tuesday nights at Troy Bar 🎵✊🏼
It’s crazy to think how many artists we watched walk through those doors at the beginning of their journeys — some of whom went on to become hugely important names in the music industry worldwide 🌍👏🏼
To know that, in our own little way, we helped provide a space that nurtured so much talent is something I’ll always be proud of 🥹
I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you guys.
You carried this night with me!

Love y’all 🤗❤️

And the band members!! 🙌🏼🎵🌪️
So many incredible musicians have been part of the house band over the years. ❤️
It’s probably impossible to remember everyone, but I tried my best 😅
I can’t tag that many people in one post, so please tag yourself in the comments ✍️ — and tag anyone I may have accidentally missed! 😵‍💫😵‍💫
