We have been busy!!🔊

We are incredibly grateful to working alongside Milton Keynes Council, to bring DJing workshops and sessions across the city!

With a massive help from @noisemusic.io we spent the summer taking their DJ truck around to different family centres, for children and teenagers of all ages and backgrounds to have a go at DJing!

That has now led to several afterschool clubs happening across family centres in Milton Keynes, plus many other projects in the works!

Huge thanks to the teams at MKCC, @noisemusic.io and our internal OTD teams - together we have started to change some young people’s lives, through the power of DJing!🎶

🚨 A NEW ERA BEGINS… WELCOME TO KU. 🚨

Friday 25th September, NOCTRA takes over the KU Garden as part of the venue's official GRAND OPENING WEEKEND. 🔊

And for a weekend this big, it was only right we brought back someone who absolutely killed it last time…

🔥 @twistadeejay RETURNS TO NOCTRA! 🔥

Last time around he completely understood the assignment — the selection, the energy and the reaction from the crowd were unreal. So bringing him back to help us kick off this new chapter was a no-brainer.

Joining him are @taylavitalisxo & @_shepzuk — two extremely talented DJs who know exactly what Noctra is about. Trust us, they understand the assignment too. 👀

And of course @therudydj & @djbirdmanofficial will be representing Noctra and completing the lineup.

🏠 House • UKG • Bassline
📍 KU Garden, Northampton
📅 Friday 25th September
⏰ 12AM – 5AM

New name. New era. Same energy.

NOCTRA x KU — let's start this chapter properly. 🖤

Some of our favourite photos from The Local Showcase.

A room full of local talent, local ravers and people backing the scene on their doorstep.

No big headliners. No chasing names. Just DJs, MCs and ravers coming together to prove how much talent we’ve already got right here.

This is exactly why we started EMBC.

Support local. Build the scene. Make some fucking noise.

Just a quick post to say what a fucking night friday was!!! Vibes on a whole different level 🙌🏽
The Wife is currently going through the 300+ pictures she took on the night, so please bare with while she juggles her time between editing and parenting. Mad love to @embc.eventsuk for once again giving me the oppurtunity to network with some absolute fire talent 🔥

Last Friday was proof that you don’t need headliners to create something special.

15 DJs. 8 MCs. One room. 100% Northamptonshire talent 🫶🏼

To every artist, every raver and everyone who backed the vision from start to finish… thank you. This is exactly why EMBC exists.

This is only the beginning.

THE LOCAL SHOWCASE // ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

The Local Showcase is all about celebrating the artists making moves in our local scene, and @rivum_dnb is a name that’s been building some serious momentum recently.

A firm fan favourite at EMBC, RIVUM has become a familiar face behind the decks at our events and always brings the energy whenever he steps up.

As a jump up DJ and producer, his sound brings together the best of both worlds, blending old school jump up influences with the newer sounds pushing the genre forward today.

And it’s not just behind the decks where he’s been putting in the work. With recent releases landing on FTR Sounds and Banished Beats, RIVUM is continuing to make his mark as a producer as well as a DJ.

We’re proud to welcome RIVUM back once again for The Local Showcase.

📍 Stereo Bar, Northampton
📅 Friday 31st July
🕙 10PM – 4AM

If you’ve caught RIVUM at an EMBC event before, you already know what he brings. If not, expect old school flavours, new school jump up and plenty of energy from start to finish.

THE LOCAL SHOWCASE // ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

The Local Showcase is all about giving a platform to rising talent, and next up we’re excited to welcome @maisrunna for her first time playing with with the EMBC.

An up and coming DJ with a love for high energy dancefloor Drum & Bass, MAISRUNNA brings together euphoric melodies with hard hitting sub bass to create sets that carry both energy and emotion.

She’s passionate about mixing tunes that make people feel something, taking the crowd on a journey with her and making sure they leave remembering the set.

While dancefloor DnB is where she really shines, don’t get too comfortable she’s always ready to throw in the occasional filthy roller or jump up tune to catch the crowd off guard.

This will be MAISRUNNA’s first time playing for EMBC, and we’re gassed to finally have her down for The Local Showcase.

📍 Stereo Bar, Northampton
📅 Friday 31st July
🕙 10PM – 4AM

Expect euphoric melodies, heavy basslines, unexpected switches and plenty of energy from start to finish.
