Everything has led to this.

Every player on Niles and Goodrich’s entire football career has led to this. The Niles Vikings will face off against the Goodrich Martians in the MHSAA state championship in just a few short hours.

There is no next game, this is it. All or nothing. Both teams are here looking to win a state championship for the first time in program history so you know this is going to be a hard fought scrappy game between both teams! Goodrich is here for the 2nd time in 3 years after they ultimately fell in the state championship to South Christian in 2022. While Niles is here for their first time EVER in a state championship game and are looking to make history! To say this is the biggest game in Niles football history is an understatement. This is THE game in Niles football history and I am beyond excited to see what comes out of it.

Good luck Niles! Bring one home for the Wolverine 🫡

Absolutely massive showdown tonight as we get a district title game fought between two bitter rivals just 15 minutes apart! We’ve got the US-12 Rivalry between the Edwardsburg Eddies and the Niles Vikings tonight folks!

Edwardsburg is coming into this game absolutely RED hot and have shown no signs of slowing down! Niles is obviously Niles, one of the best teams in all of D4 however they are coming into this one a little banged up… these two squads met just a few weeks ago where in Edwardsburg we saw an amazing game that went down to the very last play with Niles winning 21-14! Will we see the same result tonight or will the Eddies flip the script and continue their streak into a regional game? Tonight looks to be an absolute classic between two powerhouse programs and I can tell you one thing! If you love hs football there is NO better place to be tonight then Niles Michigan to watch this game unfold!

PLAYOFFS ARE HERE! We’ve got the first round of the playoffs today and with only 3 teams in it we’ve got some fun matchups INCLUDING a conference championship rematch just 1 short week later 👀

Edwardsburg will travel to Harper Creek and take on the Beavers for the first time ever! This is a fun matchup between two ground and pound squads! Both of them run the Power T however Harper Creek does run a spread at times too so it will be interesting to see what personnel the Eddie’s bring out there to counter each! While this is only the second season Edwardsburg has not won a playoff game under Coach Purlee and with the success his predecessor Coach Bartz had at Edwardsburg you know he feels the pressure to win one and win one SOON.

While it’s round one for the playoffs it’s round two for these two squads! We get a conference championship rematch as this time Paw Paw will travel down to Niles! This should be an amazing game as the Vikings look to make a statement here with back to back wins over a very good Paw Paw squad and for Paw Paw this is for redemption and getting out the thorn that has been in their side in the Niles Vikings!
