If someone would have told me I’d have a makeup biz, I would have said “you’re crazy”. If someone would have told me I was going to become fast friends with ladies I met on social media , I would have said “you’re crazy”. Well, I guess I’m the crazy one since both things came true!!

I’ve been an Artist with Seint Beauty a little over 1 1/2 years and I just went to my first conference (we actually call them reunions). I was nervous to go. I’d never met any of my teammates in person. I was feeling intimidated. But guess what…. I felt like I belonged! Everyone from the bottom all the way to the top was so kind. Even Cara, the Founder and CEO of Seint is so loving, passionate, and real!

We are a team of ladies ready and willing to lift one another, cheer for each other, and do anything we can to offer support. We are Seint Sisters! 🖤🤍 I love my teammates 🖤🤍

Y’all know I was PETRIFIED for this weekend. So much so that I sat in my friend’s living room in tears telling her “I’m not going. That’s it. I can’t.” She said “you’re going AND you’ll be fine AND you’ll have fun”

My husband said “get your ass on that plane and ENJOY YOURSELF”

So I did. And it was fine. I made it. But then I had a whole new set of worries.
“Wow. These girls are so pretty.” “Their outfits are so well planned” “they are taking photo ops EVERYWHERE”
And again, I got discouraged. It’s no surprise that I have anxiety or that I have poor self talk. It’s hard. There’s a picture I may share later that wrecked me this weekend. But something else happened this weekend.
I was given grace by so many people. By @the.jackie.richards who stood patiently and giggled as I took a billion pictures to be sure I got a good one. It was @fairchildkat who did the same. And treated me as important as she was. It was @caralynbrook the founder and CEO of Seint who took time to talk with me and tell me to THANK MY MOTHER for getting me involved with Seint. It was @staycsmart who invited me in the cabana like we’d been friends forever. @ashlee_jenn_meaux who poured everything she had into us this weekend. It was my roommates and my teammates that let me be ME. Loud. A little crazy. And sometimes a lot.

No one made me feel less than. Every negative thought I had was MINE. And I want to change that.

At our awards dinner it wasn’t “man I’ll never be that” it was “wooooooooo!!! Way to go!!!!” With cheers and clapping and hugs.

Y’all know I’m not new to network marketing/social selling/ whatever you want to call it. And I was embarrassed to admit I was doing it. AGAIN.
But this one feels different. There’s a spark. A joy. A team of ladies ready and willing to lift up. And cheer. That after 2 days can recognize when you’re not ok.

I learned a lot of product knowledge and business stuff. But most importantly, I learned about me. And that it’s ok that I am ME. And it’s ok to say nice things about me ♥️

I went into this weekend not knowing what to expect, what to feel, and even in my head i was minimizing all of my accomplishments with the company thus far. I had been questioning my worth, and my why recently, as I’ve been climbing out of a slow season in my business.

But this experience was electric.

Every moment flooded me with an emotion that I didn’t know I could feel. I wasn’t sure if I’d make new friends, or even feel comfortable in my own skin surrounded by so many beautiful, successful women. Everything came so much easier than I expected, except…..
Feeling proud of myself. @ashlee_jenn_meaux had to actually remind me that I should be. That my accomplishments were HUGE. I believed her, but I had never truly felt that feeling. I shrugged it off.

It wasn’t until I started to see my girls names scrolling the screens being recognized for their accomplishments and ranks that I started to feel a twinkle… but the moment that changed everything for me…. Was being recognized on stage by our founder and CEO for being a top leader with @seintofficial.

I was reignited.

I finally felt proud of myself, and it reminded me that pride isn’t selfish or vain… it’s being your own cheerleader when you need to be, and it’s the fuel to your inspiration.

I can’t even begin to name all of the incredible women who made this weekend so special. So thank you, to any and all of the beautiful souls I was able to connect with. You truly all made this such an incredible weekend. ❤️
