Hi everyone! Today we finally launch our recap about the recent Looking Friday fashion show at Mexta Restaurant, showcasing its fall collection πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί Certainly, this was not my first time shooting a fashion show at Mexta, with Looking Friday as the main brand. And I can tell you how challenging is trying to cover an event from everywhere, inside this venue in particular πŸ€―πŸ“· However, at the end of the day I enjoyed my time, and at some point I even stopped to worry too much about the venue's lightning and how the footage was going to look like when I had to edit 😁 Because things are different when you finally work with the right people!!! πŸ™Œβœ¨ Once again, and I know it is sounding extremely repetitive, thanks so much Cassidy and Libby (both event co-hosts) for trusting me and for letting me be part or your event. And also, thanks to the models for all your kindness! πŸ€— #jimardonesfilms #lookingfriday #eliteknitting #fashionrunway #austinmodels

Life has been fun lately. Celebrating people I love, trying new things, bringing good people together, learning a little Texas two-step, and making some really good memories along the way. Sometimes we get so focused on what’s next that we forget to appreciate when life is good right now. Grateful for this season 🀎

I'm currently working on new styles using vintage hankies, which made me think of my original designs with the same materials 🫢 2 years ago, I collected TONS of handkerchiefs from local antique shops and online secondhand stores to create a line of these beautiful, romantic dresses. each were distinct, mixing patterns of delicate florals and embroidery. I've always loved transforming something old into modern fashion that can be worn and treasured 🧑 I'm excited to show y'all what I've been working on, it's so cool to see my own growth and use the same materials into completely different styles & silhouettes Photos 1 & 3 modeled by @_simplynadia πŸ“Έ @guacaado Photos 2 & 4 modeled by @lanatambo πŸ“Έ @kevindealphoto #handmade #slowfashion #remadefashion #thriftflip #austindesigner
