Somewhere along the way, we realized we’re not going to have all the answers. About our kids. Our parents. Our relationships. Ourselves. What comes next. And on and on and on.

We may not know how it’s all going to work out.
But somehow, it usually does.

Here’s to holding onto that little bit of hope in the in between. For anyone in a season of “I have no idea how this is going to work out” this little sunset reminder is for you.

Last week, I had the chance to speak in a room full of moms… and I’ve been sitting with it ever since.

There was so much honesty in that space… about the pressure we carry, the doubts we hold, and how deeply we want to show up for our kids.

It reminded me why I started Teddy in Trouble.

To help kids feel seen, understood, and connected in the everyday moments that shape them.

Almost 3 years in, and I’m still building, still learning, still listening.

But moments like last week make it clear - this matters 🧡

We hosted our very first event for parents this weekend — and it sparked some really thoughtful, honest conversation. 💬
We spent time reflecting on a simple but layered question:
How do we cultivate empathy in our children, and why is it so important that we do?
✨ @teddyintroubleofficial founder @drkanikak shared the research on why it’s important to build empathy in our children and gave parents practical tips for how to model both emotional and cognitive empathy, which in turn helps children build those skills themselves.
✨ @payalforstyle grounded the conversation in real life, and shared how she intentionally builds an environment that encourages empathy and allows her boys to show up as their full selves, with every feeling accepted and individuality celebrated.
The conversation was beautifully guided by Neha Patel of the @unpackingmyself whose moderation created space for nuance and honesty. We wrapped with a thoughtful Q&A facilitated by @rkj5014 , SAAFC co-founder and @desidoubtspod co-host.
What stood out most was how much parents appreciated having room to talk, reflect, and learn from one another.

This weekend is one I’ll never forget. I had the honor of speaking about one of my favorite topics - cultivating empathy in children - alongside someone who I have deep respect for @payalforstyle

What stood out most was the community that gathered: those who came to support @rakheemody @drjinstyle @juliebhindi @tejalvpatel @ami.vee , those who led the heartfelt conversation @unpackingmyself @desidoubtspod and those who brought it all together @saaforchange @_simplyshraddha

It was a powerful reminder of what happens when women show up for one another. Truly grateful for every single person who was part of it.

My heart is so full getting to see my Cali girl @_simplyshraddha. This year was a wild ride for me, and you never forget the pillars who helped you through the valley years. Shraddha's bday voicemail is one I save and go back to listening anytime I'm having a hard day. Hugging you, catching up, and celebrating your birthday was the sweetest way to wrap 2025. I genuinely desire for ALL us women to have such caring and supportive friends in our life. We can't go through life without them.

And reconnecting with old friends while meeting new soulful ones? That joy is unmatched. Women supporting women will forever be my favorite energy.

October Recap 🎉

This month was busy in every sense — my 9–5 kicked off its busiest season, and between that, running my business, hosting events, and showing up for my family… October was full.

But even with the chaos, there were so many moments that filled my heart — celebrating Navratri, Diwali, Halloween, and my Naavya’s birthday month 💕 Those are the memories that keep me grounded in why I do it all.

Being a small business owner and a mom means wearing every hat — I’m the CEO of my household and this business. It’s not always picture-perfect. There were some heavy moments too, times I felt like I was juggling too much and couldn’t fully enjoy the wins because I was just tired.

I’m learning that it’s okay to say “no,” to feel the FOMO, and to choose peace when things get overwhelming.

To anyone else trying to balance it all — I see you, I feel you, and I’m cheering for you. From one tired but motivated mama to another — here’s to finding joy in the middle of the hustle. 💪🏽✨
