Alright there are so many wonderful things to remember from this study abroad so here are some of the moments that seem small, but are so memorable and if you know, you know, and so therefore I owe it to:

- piles of tea
- scarves
- “serendipity”
- the turtle dove snow globe
- the handwritten letters
- coffee.
- And mugs.
- the color red
- the color green
- old books
- Christmas markets
- advent calendars
- cobblestone streets
- pearls
- “leaning into spontaneity”
- scones, where the jam comes first
- the tears, the people, the love

Thanksgiving lasted about an hour before we turned the dorm into a full nostalgia concert—Christmas songs, 2000s hits, and ABBA… the whole chaotic playlist 🎶😂
But honestly, my heart is full. I’m so grateful for the people I’ve met so far at Oxford, my friends who already feel like I been friends with them for years! , the privilege of this education, and the technology that let me wish my family a happy Thanksgiving from across the world.
Heart full. Ears ringing. Holiday mode activated ❤️ #happybirthdayjack

HA GIANG LOOP ⛰️🏍️✨

Adventure of a lifetime! I did the Ha Giang motorbike tour where we spent 3-days, 2-nights in the mountains of northern Vietnam. Our group was 6 people and we all had easy riders. they were the best! 👨🏻‍🏭🫶🏼🫰🏼

To break up the riding, we hiked to a waterfall, swam in a cave, went to see the border of China, and took lots of scenic rest stops. The overnights were really comfortable in the village homestays or hotels where the nightlife was poppin’, and we were fed so well.

Day 3 was rainy with low visibility so sadly we didn’t see many sights then.

We each packed a small backpack and left our luggage at the tour company’s home base. There’s also the option to drive yourself, but that wasn’t for me hahaha
