Allison A. Waite
Three Colors: Pan African (2026)—Director of Chapter II "BLACK"

Following taking on the reins for Chapter II of the film, I asked Allison, "What aspect of your style as a filmmaker are you most proud to have contributed to this collaborative directorial effort?"

Allison:
"I have always been interested in using cinema to reveal the extraordinary within the ordinary. With Breadman, I was excited to bring that sensibility to a portrait of community, using silhouettes, negative space, and the expressive possibilities of black to create images that feel both grounded and mythic."

Elijah Davis
Three Colors: Pan African (2026)—Creator, Director "RED" & "GOLD", Writer, and Producer

When we finished wrapping this film, Elijah and I conducted a brief impromptu interview. I asked him, "What would he hope someone who views this film would leave with?"

Elijah:
"If even one Black child sees this film and is inspired to go do something that they never thought they could do before, or be a better version of themselves for themselves and their loved ones, then every single second of the last two and a half years that we have all poured into this will have been worth it."
