It’s been so moving to watch these Healing Starts with a Story pieces begin arriving in your homes, classrooms, therapy offices, and libraries.

Seeing the message carried into the spaces where you care for others reminds me why I created this in the first place.

Stories hold us. Stories guide us. Stories help us make sense of what hurts and what heals.

La Cultura Shop was everything!

Last week, we did our first market/in-person event in FOUR years! Together with @sammygeedesigns we closed out the HERENCIA collection in style!

This Sunday, I had the honor and privilege of sitting in conversation with my sis, Emely Rumble @literapy_nyc, as we gathered around her groundbreaking offering, Bibliotherapy in the Bronx.

To celebrate Emely is to celebrate a love work, a heart work—an altar built through the pages for all of US who have ever searched for ourselves in stories.

Her sisterhood has been a sanctuary. A constant. A reminder that we are never alone. Emely embodies community, unapologetic in her love for US, unwavering in her commitment to bring US with her, word by word, page by page.

Sis, thank you for carrying us in every sentence. For making space that heals and holds. I am in awe, and I look forward to bearing witness to all the ancestors have set in motion for you.
