Getting the reps in. 🏐💚

Our 8th graders are building their volleyball skills in PE, practicing the fundamentals, making adjustments and getting better with every repetition.

Not every learning moment happens at a desk.

Coordination, communication, persistence and teamwork are being built here too.

Practice. Adjust. Try again.

That’s how we grow. 💚

Last night was one for the books.

Shout out to Mr. Chris, our Youth Services Coordinator, and his team for a powerful production. Seeing so many young people living in their passion is always inspiring, especially when it aligns with violence prevention and building something positive.

Big appreciation to our Athletic Director Marcus Speller and Dean McDonald for helping lead a day full of activity and energy across campus.

With a food pantry, football event, and dance competition all happening, we welcomed 700 to 1000 people through our doors.

Special thank you to our custodial and security teams. They managed it all with professionalism and kept everything running smoothly.

This is what teamwork looks like.

Even with challenges, our team showed up and delivered.

Proud of this Village 💚

What a way to start the season! 🔥🏃🏽‍♀️

Our girls showed up and showed out in the 100M, taking 1st and 2nd place at our very first track meet of the season! 💪🏾✨

Speed, focus, and determination on full display—we are so proud of their hard work and the way they represented our school. This is just the beginning! 🚀

🏆 STATE CHAMPIONS 🏆

Our ITAV 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team are officially State Champions.

This moment is about more than a title. It is about discipline, teamwork, and belief. These young men committed to the process and earned every bit of this win.

At ITAV, we are building leaders, scholars, and young people who understand what it means to show up, stay focused, and rise.

I am incredibly proud of this team, AD Marcus Speller, Coach Kevin Snider, Coach Myke O., and our entire Village.

This is what it looks like when vision becomes reality.

The Village is rising. 💪🏾

🏀 Champions! 🏆

Congratulations to our ITAVLA 7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team for winning the St. Moses the Black League! What an incredible accomplishment and a powerful display of teamwork, discipline, and heart.

A special thank you to our Athletic Director, Coach Speller, for his vision in building a strong athletics program that gives our students opportunities to grow both on and off the court. We are also deeply grateful for Coach Snider’s wisdom and leadership and for Coach Mike’s dedication and commitment to our young athletes.

Most of all, we are so proud of our boys. Their hard work, perseverance, and team spirit truly paid off.
And to the parents, families, and the entire Village who showed up, cheered loudly, and supported these young men every step of the way, thank you. This victory belongs to all of us.

Village Strong. Village Proud. 💛
