She said she would turn into Nagavalli if I didn’t upload it today 😂

PS: Nagavalli is the original legendary alter-ego and tragic dancer from the 1993 Malayalam psychological thriller masterpiece Manichitrathazhu, who serves as the direct inspiration for the character “Manjulika” in the Hindi remake Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Chandramukhi in the Tamil remake.

When Kumar Sanu came to Austin and we were supposed to perform with him on stage but life had other plans so we went ahead and performed for ourselves in the studio!!!

The bestest part about this choreography was the process- never had more fun in life choreographing something from scratch and laughing so much coming up with the most random steps possible!

Loved doing this with you girls @_sreerekha_ and @archies_04 ❤️❤️thank you @muqabaladancers for the opportunity 😀

Thank you sooo much 💙

Matching moves before the music even started😂

When we were sifting through videos to pick our final shots we were in for a pleasant surprise 🥹

We weren’t even dancing yet... just adjusting our skirts, and somehow ended up moving in perfect sync using the same hand, looking in the same direction, completely unaware of it!

I felt like this sync that extends beyond just choreography and dance had to have a little place on my feed.

A perfect little memory to commemorate our last reel together 💙

5…6…..and video drops tomorrow 😍

When the music cut off mid tech run but the community had our back!!

In all seriousness, this is such a moving and heartfelt encapsulation of the dance community in Austin and what Get It Jumpin is all about as a community showcase. The support from the audience so quickly and seamlessly just goes to show how willing we all are in helping to lift each other up! This small city of Austin has such a big heart!

Lastly, we are so grateful to @thisisnewgenesis for inviting @dosaidynasty to perform at their community showcase! We are a relatively new team, so these opportunities mean a chance to share our stories where they otherwise wouldn’t be heard.

Also thanks to @t_anthony_s for training us at the beginning of the season and stepping in as a guest performer at the end of the season because the plot needed him, learning his kuthu section in 2 days and flawlessly executing it on stage.

Thank you New Gen, the Austin Dance Community, and of course, this beautiful Dosai team! ❤️

Some songs demand choreography that speaks. @ashdances_ did absolute justice to the raw emotion of Hai Rama. So much love went into this last night at the @naachroomm ✨❤️
