🔥 DAY ONE HIGHLIGHTS! 🔥 T-3 DAYS TO BATIZADO! We kicked off our Saudação Capoeira Singapore Batizado e Troca de Cordas Festival 2026 with movement, flow and plenty of axé! 🇧🇷✨ Instrutor Planeta took on the Aú Sem Mão — an aerial movement that can take months, even years, to build — breaking it down step by step and getting our students closer to taking flight in just 45 minutes! 🤸🏽‍♂️🔥 Alongside him, Instrutora Playmobil brought us back into the jogo — exploring the importance of flow, movement and expression, and encouraging each player to harness what they know while discovering their own style in the roda. ✨ Different lessons. Different approaches. One shared roda. 🤝🏽 A beautiful opening to our Batizado week — and we’re only getting started! Stay tuned for Day 2! 👀🔥

🇸🇬𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐏 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 — 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐓𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐀 What started as something to simply “try” in 2013 has grown into a 13-year Capoeira journey and a big part of who Instrutor Planeta (Stanton) is today. Under the guidance of Mestre Claudinho, Planeta began teaching kids around 2017–2018 — discovering that Capoeira isn’t only about learning to play, but also about 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰. His game and teaching are firmly rooted in the fundamentals. For Planeta, 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐚. What continues to inspire him? 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫-𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 — 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲. Outside of Capoeira, he stays active through running and working out, to complement his training and help him maintain strength, endurance, and discipline both on and off the roda. His philosophy sums it up beautifully: “𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝.” 𝘈 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳. 🕯️ 🥁 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐝𝐚𝐲 — 22 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐞𝐢𝐫𝐚. 📍 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨 🗓️ 22 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 2026 🔥 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐯𝐢𝐚 𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐈𝐍 𝐁𝐈𝐎 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐭! A few moments from my “Volume de Jogo” workshop in Singapore. My deepest gratitude to @saudacaocapoeirasingapore for being such amazing hosts and for giving me the opportunity to share my work, my experience, and my love for capoeira. Thank you to everyone who came, trained, shared energy, and made this moment special. Capoeira is much more than movements. It is connection, friendship, community, and love. Every roda, every game, and every exchange reminds us how strong this family is. Grateful for the moments, the learning, and the people who continue to keep our culture alive. Axé 🙏
