The moment I saw @Sparklesthehero stomping around in a plush, kids Viking helmet, I knew the scene demanded a tragedy. Not a real tragedy, rather one of those overly dramatic Nordic epics where a warrior returns from conquest only to find his village reduced to smoking rubble, his couches burnt to springs, his Trebuchet toppled, and every treasured possession sacrificed to the god of fire ball…. Both the incendiary and cinnamon kind.

My iPhone certainly told that story.

Reality, however, was less Game Of Thrones and more pyromaniac summer camp. From midnight until nearly four in the morning, the air was filled with explosions, drunken laughter, and the occasional cheer that usually means something either went very right or very wrong.

The only genuine despair arrived sometime around dawn, when we realized that all this glorious destruction would have to be cleaned up the next day cum crapulā.
