Relationships define life. Without them, you exist in a vacuum of isolation and self-absorption. With this comes pitfalls of delusion about capacity, derision of other opinions, and distrust of everyone else. With the wrong relationships, you exist in a whirlpool of assimilation and intimidation. With this comes conformity to expectations, alignment with interests, and participation in misdirected pursuits. With the right relationships, there will be thrilling highs and painful lows. There, you learn to be human, live as a human, and grow as a human. Real life is about relationships.

So, at the start of this, even during enrollment, I honestly thought I'd have to suck it up and deal with a bunch of people, or that I'd end up without any friends. And with this group, I didn't end up with friends. I ended up with family. I have a thousand words and more for them, but I don't think it would give them justice, no matter how many. NIGERIA! HOO! 💚🇳🇬💚
