The last couple of days have certainly had a mix of highs and lows. We spent a good deal of a day in Steamboat Springs, visiting a number of shops downtown and climbing another ski hill. Yesterday we made it just west of Vernal, UT where we sustained our second flat tire of the trip. One our way back into town a deer decided to attack the side of our truck and camper as we drive down the road. Both deer and vehicles lost on that one. There were a couple of cool campgrounds in there as well. Today we ended up in SLC, UT, visiting our dear friend. It was awesome to see her thriving in her new environment!!! #exploremoreً

Got to share my favorite steep and deep Forest Park route on Saturday with @_stephosaur_ . A perfect send off route. Tuck this ride in your mental pocket as you embark on your new job in Utah. 🩷
Hugs until you come to visit again 😘

Also, I found $20 in #earthhandups. 🤑

this year‘s #PPP was a little different… in more ways than one! the lack of snow all season caused a course change - only to have a storm hit the night before ❄️ @mbsef_ppp

instead of the DH & skate ski portions, we had a stout vert run along mtb trails & cat tracks to the bike exchange at sunrise lodge, trodding along snow drifts and guided by flags. sleet greeted us heading down century but the legs were insaaanely happy to be pedaling!! @mccarkath ran w me during the 5.5 miler along the deschutes river trail (so GORG) all the way to the boat exchange where i 🫠🫠🫠 while paddling upriver.

the real hero (aside from having my fam present to support) were the extraordinarily nerdy Stephanie tribute tees everyone was wearing to mega surprise me mid-stride on the finishing sprint 🤍 oh and i got a mug (1st in my age group buuuut 1 of 1 and no one’s asking) 💅💅💅 had a blast and couldn’t have done it w/o the framily 😌🌲☀️🛶 we’re #obsessed 🌙

From the last two months, in no particular order.

Also, aren’t we all so happy spring is here? Like let’s just all breathe a collective sigh and get ready for beach season, yeah? And yes I know, “Beach season’s a state of mind” but like come on, we need some shandies. We need some sand. We need some sun, babe.

What was supposed to be a easy stroll through the woods ended up being a semi-epic slog. But the trails and weather were perfect so hard to complain.:) #pivotcycles

Fantastic weekend! A nice balance of yard work and play. Today’s triathlon: last day of the season at #mtbachelornordic, followed by a beautiful hike along the river, and capping it off, a trail ride in #lapinestatepark with my two favorite boys! My heart is full!! #southcountydeschutes #centraloregonlife

Another #polepedalpaddle has come to an end. It was one of varied and sometimes challenging conditions AND success for all. The best part; “Thanksgiving in Spring Tom’s words)” as we gathered with our friends to support, compete, and of course, eat!!! Love all these faces! Feeling so blessed with friendships and the ability to continue to compete in this event❣️#centraloregonlife
