June at KUNSTRAUM✨

What an eventful month! We had presentations from artists Sue Beyer (@sue_beyer) and Melissa Callender (@lessons_in_patience) during our monthly Artist Salon, hosted studio visits with visiting critics Jacob Rhodes (@fieldprojects) and Ingrid Dinter (@ingriddinter), and closed our group show Funny Weather with a moderated panel featuring the exhibiting artists.

Thank you to everyone who shared their time, ideas, and conversations with us throughout the month. We’re excited for what’s ahead. Swipe for some highlights from June!

💫 Our June Visiting Critic sessions kicked off with a wonderful visit from Ingrid Dinter. Ingrid is a New York-based contemporary art curator, writer, and former gallery owner with extensive experience in exhibition making.

Artists-in-Residence Stephanie Silver (@_stexter_), Sue Beyer (@sue_beyer), Sophie Shantiben (@akayourfairygodmother), and Yue Yuan (@doitforthething) shared the exciting work they’ve been making at their KUNSTRAUM studios in one-on-one visits with Ingrid. Stay tuned for some sneak peaks of what our great artists have been creating during their residency!

Thank you, Ingrid (@ingriddinter), for your time and thoughtful feedback. We look forward to seeing connections continue to form in the studios through these visits, which bring such active energy and dialogue into our space.
