Duyuyor musun beni?

Yine yine yeniden…
seni bulmak istiyorum.

Bir zamanlar içimde yaşayan sen’ vardı,
şimdi kapına gelen benim.

Uzun süre dışarıda kaldım,
kendimden uzak,
kendime yabancı.

Ne zaman dönmeye çalışsam
bir şey durdurdu beni-
belki korku,
belki kendimi tanımlayamamak,
belki de bu Dünya.

Ama artık biliyorum…
beni çağıran ses
başkasına ait değil,

BENİM.

Soğuk olan dünya değil,
ruhuma gidemediğim o yer.

Şimdi buradayım,
kaçmıyorum.

Kapıyı çalmıyorum bile…
çünkü hatırladım-

ben o kapının kendisiyim.

Ve sen geri döneni,
döne döne geleni
her zaman tanırsın.

Artık kaçış yok, sadece alkış var
Zamanın nehrinde savrulan bir yaprak gibi..
ama köklerim bende.
Bak! bak şimdi rüzgar bile bana rehberlik ediyor.

Ruhumla dans ediyorum,
her titreme, her nefes bir adım.
Her sessizlik bir cevher.

Ve şimdi gülümsüyorum.
Seninle yeniden bir aradayım,
kalbim dans ediyor,
içimdeki boşluk ise doldu.
Şimdi ışıkla dolup taşıyorum,
artık kaybolmadım.
Döne döne geldim,
artık tamamen BENİM.

I appreciate the moment when I stumbled upon this work by @_studiorat

This was my first impression of Studiorat’s art: those tiny little characters, each with their own little story behind them. Some are taken from real life, while others are invented. Some are silly, some are funny, and some make you tear up. Some were already well-known to me, and others were a total discovery. All of it is created in such an absolutely cozy style. We need more things like this in our lives!

This was also my introduction to the poem “Wild Geese” by Mary Oliver. I love poems and I love to write them, but when I read something this good, I always think to myself: “How did they think of that?” and sometimes “I’ll never be this good.” I know, I know - “Comparison is the thief of joy” (I think I saw John Cena saying that once lol). It’s a habit I need to stop.

Anyway, the poem is so powerful. I’ve reread it multiple times in a row, and somehow it stays fresh. It’s just beautiful. I can say with total confidence that these words impacted me. Just the opening line “You do not have to be good” - wow!

Do you have any recommendations for poems like this? Share them in the comments pls!

So yeah, I’m happy, the sun is out, and I wish you happiness too. Spread love and be nice to each other! Go support Studiorat, show them some love, and for more, head over to their insta page. :)

- warme tinten
- rijke materialen
- gedurfde prints
- statement pieces

🧡 #yearofthehorse #firehorse #interiortrends #design #luxuryinterior

O campo se abre.
A energia acelera.
O momentum está disponível.

Mas potência sem direção é ruído.

O Cavalo simboliza velocidade.
Expansão.
Movimento.

Estrutura antes do impulso.

Decisões importantes não pedem pressa.
Pedem clareza.
